I Love Websites <3
Websites Changed My Life
I didn’t know what a website was until I was around 8 years old, and I didn’t understand how to code a website until 3-4 years later. When I was 10 years old, I started to learn and ultimately become a webmaster, as I work for Long Island Webmaster on Long Island, NY now.
I was able to make 6 figures with websites by being a webmaster, this is a milestone that I am very proud of and what makes it better is how much money I produced for my clients who became my friends in the process. That was something that I will not forget.
The First Website I Built
The first website I built was a professional wrestling forum that was using phpBB software, hosted on HostGator(dot)com. The website was created in 2006 and closed 2 years later after I was cited for copyright issues by World Wrestling Entertainment Inc, we reached over 36 thousand online members with over 100 people active at any given moment. We would have thousands of people active on a Monday or Thursday during RAW or SMACKDOWN, people would tune into our forums for clips and to read the results as events happened live!
I learned from this and decided to create a marketing company called VisAds, again on forum software, this website would eventually sell 3 months later for $600 and that’s when I start creating websites and flipping them for cash based on ad click revenue. With time, I eventually focused my skills towards creating websites and digital brands for strangers, that’s how I’m working as a webmaster now.
Websites Haven’t Really Changed
Not much has honestly changed about websites since they were created, when the world-wide-web was released on August 6th, 1991 by Tim Berners-Lee; he had introduced HTML code which we still use today. We still have to use servers, we have to use databases, and HTML is still used plus CSS, Javascript, and all the other bunch of languages.
If anything, the main thing that changed was how fast we can process information, how fast we can connect servers, the ability to transfer bytes, that’s what we really changed. Plus, we became more organized, so speed and organization really are the big changes.
Websites Create Wealth For People
Just look at the Forbes or Bloomberg list, so many people made their current fortunes from websites. I don’t even want to hear how real estate made the most milionaires or blah-blah-blah, no, websites have created more wealth than ever!
Look at the top ten billionaires, most of them made their money from a website, their wealth came from website creation! Elon Musk was the webmaster for PayPal, Jeff Bezos was the webmaster for Amazon, Google is a website created to index other websites!
Even ChatGPT Is A Website
Even ChatGPT, yes, your holy ChatGPT… it’s a digital scraper and it’s a website. It’s basically a search engine that scrapes other search engines and databases for information. That’s all it is! Nothing special, just a database of information and commands.
People are so worried about AI but they don’t realize that it’s just a freaking website with a database attached to it and a bunch of APIs!
